NHN Dooray (NHN Dooray, NHN두레이) is unveiling its AI agent service lineup and accelerating its push into the enterprise collaboration market.
NHN Dooray on April 28 held a press briefing at NHN's Pangyo office complex, the 'Play Museum'. It unveiled its AI agent services and shared results it has generated across the public, enterprise and financial sectors.
The company said the newly added Dooray AI agent, built within the Dooray platform that integrates various collaboration functions, goes beyond a simple conversational assistant. It is an action-stage agent that directly uses work data accumulated in Dooray to carry out tasks on a user's behalf.
It is designed to interact with people in real workplaces. It can join messenger chat rooms at a level equivalent to a regular user account, and users can request specific tasks as well as ask questions and receive answers.
My Agent is a personalised AI assistant that operates by integrating and analysing a user's email, calendar and personal wiki. With simple commands, it can run functions including summaries of the day's schedule and to-do items, suggestions for work priorities based on importance and urgency, task creation and summaries of key emails.
For example, it can identify emails among many received messages that must be read, or gather tasks separately registered in projects, emails and wikis in one place and assign priorities.
Project Agent positions itself as a project-specific AI collaboration partner that answers and takes actions based on data accumulated in a project's tasks, wiki and calendar.
It offers a range of project-related functions, including checking all project tasks, creating tasks, editing task details, adding comments, and viewing and searching the wiki. With commands such as "How is the project doing today?" and "Pull a list of delayed tasks," users can quickly identify tasks with approaching deadlines or delays and key issues within a project, the company explained.
Extension Agent provides services by connecting internal company systems not linked to Dooray, such as ERP and MES, or databases via a Python-based SDK provided by Dooray. For example, when linked to a HR system, users can apply for leave or overtime, or search for employees, with simple commands, making it possible to skip complex procedures such as accessing the intranet and moving through pages by session to run needed functions.
Built-In Agent is a specialised AI assistant that has completed training on data in expert areas such as legal affairs, accounting, regulation and security. Users can select and use needed agents immediately without separate development. When using an agent specialised for the electronic disclosure system DART, users can generate various analyses of corporate information into PDF and HWPX files with command inputs. The company said it expects the agent to contribute significantly to productivity improvements in public administration work, where HWPX files are mainly used.
NHN Dooray conducted beta tests of the Dooray AI agent with some existing customers, including Woori Financial Group. It recently officially launched My, Project and Extension agents in the enterprise segment and plans to roll them out step by step to the public and financial segments. The Built-In Agent is also scheduled for release in June.
At the briefing, NHN Dooray emphasised that its SaaS segment revenue is growing 40 percent annually and forecast that the growth will continue this year. Baek Chang-yeol (백창열), CEO of NHN Dooray, said, "NHN Dooray entered the market based on the strength of being all-in-one, achieved No. 1 in the public sector market, and is now challenging a new market in the financial industry. It is constantly evolving, launching Dooray AI and now Dooray AI agents." He said, "Dooray AI agents will present a new equation for the collaboration tools industry and support companies so they can focus on efficient value in a more innovative work environment."
