Jensen Huang wraps up South Korea visit, stresses physical AI cooperation and startup support
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang attended a \"Korea AI Ecosystem Reception\" on June 8 to wrap up a five-day visit, saying South Korea is unmatched in heavy industry, manufacturing, electronics and AI software and that hundreds of billions of dollars in revenue would flow into the country over the next five years. He urged venture capitalists and the government to support AI startups and highlighted physical AI cooperation. Deputy Prime Minister Bae Kyung-hoon cited plans on next-generation accelerators, GTC Korea and GPU price talks.

Jiransoft Group\'s JSecurity sets up Korean R&D unit JSecurity X
JSecurity, a Japanese security company under Jiransoft Group, has established JSecurity X in South Korea as a dedicated research and development corporation. The company said the move is aimed at directly using South Korean security technology and strengthening competitiveness in Japan. JSecurity X will operate as an independent R&D organisation in South Korea, building a professional structure and systematised processes. It plans to focus on AI-based next-generation security technology development.

Ditonic to work with LIG D&A on software-defined defense technology
AI platform company Ditonic said on June 1 it will work with defense company LIG D&A to build an AI-based software-defined defense operating environment. The companies will apply Ditonic’s AI OS technology to LIG D&A’s defense-domain expertise, focusing on combat management systems and broader C5I systems. Ditonic said its D.Hub platform will serve as LIG D&A’s L-NODE engine, supporting cloud-native operational continuity in an air-gapped environment.
