AI platform company Ditonic said on Tuesday it has been finally designated in the commissioned research category as a “2026 excellent specialized research service provider” selected by the Ministry of Science and ICT.
The ministry selects excellent specialized research service providers each year after a comprehensive evaluation of capabilities including research and development and customer-oriented service. A total of 6 companies were selected this year. In the commissioned research category, which evaluates the capability to research technologies and services demanded in the field and provide the results, 3 companies were selected.
Ditonic explained that the designation is meaningful because it recognizes its expertise in providing tailored technologies and services needed on site by studying industry-specific characteristics and customers’ work methods, rather than stopping at developing its own AI technology or supplying standardized solutions.
According to the company, Ditonic integrates various heterogeneous data based on its Ditonic AI platform D.Hub (D.Hub). Using semantic technology, it converts data meaning and relationships into a knowledge structure that AI can understand. It structures organizational work knowledge and rules through ontologies and knowledge graphs, and orchestrates the roles, task order and collaboration of multiple AI agents by reflecting each customer’s business logic and workflow. The company stressed that this implements a tailored end-to-end AX environment that links data analysis and judgment to actual work execution.
Ditonic plans to use the designation to expand commissioned research by industry and participation in national R&D, and to broaden public and private AX projects as a specialized research partner that researches and provides AI solutions tailored to customers’ industries and work.
Jeon Yong-joo (전용주), Ditonic’s chief executive, said, “This designation is the result of recognition of Ditonic’s expertise and technology commercialization capabilities that have come from studying customer needs and work methods and providing necessary AI solutions.” He added, “Based on proven semantic technology and industry-specific expertise, we will apply D.Hub, which connects data understanding to judgment and execution in line with customers’ business logic, to a wider range of public and private sites.”
