Shiba Inu use cases expand as Emirates adds crypto payments
Emirates has introduced cryptocurrency payments on its ticket booking platform, expanding real-world use cases for Shiba Inu (SHIB). The airline has begun supporting ticket payments via Crypto.com Pay on its website and mobile app. The option supports 30 cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin and ether, and is limited to eligible customers residing in the United Arab Emirates who have Crypto.com accounts. The payment method applies to bookings priced and settled in UAE dirhams.

Emirates adds crypto payments for air tickets in UAE
Emirates has introduced a feature allowing customers to pay for air tickets with cryptocurrency. Eligible users with a Crypto.com account can select Crypto.com Pay at checkout on emirates.com or the Emirates app to book flights. The option is currently available only to UAE residents whose payments are priced in UAE dirhams. Emirates and Crypto.com had previously announced plans to cooperate, and the integration is operated via Crypto.com’s Dubai-licensed entity.

Crypto.com partners with KG Inicis to expand digital asset payment services in South Korea
Crypto.com said on March 17 it signed a partnership with payment gateway and value-added network operator KG Inicis and will begin supporting digital asset payments through Crypto.com Pay for foreign visitors to South Korea. The system integration will allow visitors to pay for various goods and services using digital assets. Overseas users will also be able to make payments with digital assets on K-commerce platforms.
