AI dominates global venture investment in February as \'big three\' take 83 percent
Artificial intelligence is effectively dominating the global venture investment market, the latest report by startup data platform Crunchbase showed. Venture capital funding flowing into startups worldwide reached a record $189 billion in February, with AI startups raising $171 billion, or about 90 percent of the total. OpenAI, Anthropic and Waymo accounted for 83 percent of all investment, led by OpenAI’s $110 billion raise and a $730 billion valuation.
