Naver Financial-Dunamu share swap delayed again to year-end
Naver Financial’s timetable to bring Dunamu into its group as a wholly owned subsidiary has been delayed again, pushing the expected completion to year-end. Naver said on Monday it revised its disclosure to change the share swap schedule. The Naver Financial shareholders’ meeting was moved to Nov. 19 from Aug. 18, and the swap date to Dec. 31 from Sept. 30. Related appraisal-rights schedules were also adjusted.

FSC says minor IT outages during financial AI security work exempt from sanctions
South Korea\'s Financial Services Commission said financial firms can be exempt from sanctions for minor IT disruptions that occur during security tests or security patches aimed at responding to frontier AI security threats, if certain conditions are met. The FSC approved the measure at a review meeting and distributed response guidance for the financial sector. Exemption conditions include the severity of the disruption, rapid recovery measures and consumer protection steps.

Pinda has conducted compliance training for all employees to strengthen its ability to respond to compliance risks and improve understanding of key financial regulations, including MyData and the Financial Consumer Protection Act. The company said the first-half 2026 programme covered obligations for MyData operators, personal credit information protection and conflict-of-interest prevention. It also addressed rules on advertising, solicitation and brokerage, and requirements for loan brokerage businesses, alongside supervisory trends and sanction cases.
