Walmart completes Vibe acquisition, expands connected TV advertising
Walmart has completed its acquisition of streaming TV advertising platform Vibe.co and folded it into its connected TV advertising platform, Walmart Connect. TechCrunch reported the deal, first announced in June, was completed. The Wall Street Journal previously reported Walmart paid $1.4 billion. Vibe operates a self-service platform that helps small and midsize brands run streaming TV ad campaigns across multiple publishers.

Dlive boosts B2B, advertising push with FAST service DIVA
Dlive is stepping up its push into business-to-business deals and the advertising market, citing rapid traffic growth for its ad-supported free streaming TV (FAST) service DIVA. The company said DIVA traffic and ad exposure rose 70-fold and 16-fold, respectively, from May last year. It plans to expand B2B partnerships across areas such as in-vehicle infotainment, TVs made by small manufacturers and accommodation venues, while increasing channels to at least 50.

Disney plans to launch a beta version of an AI-based TV ad creation tool in July, Business Insider reported. Adam Smith, Disney Entertainment and ESPN\'s chief product and technology officer, shared the timeline at an internal product meeting, the report said. Disney plans to offer the tool through its self-service ad platform. It targets small advertisers without video assets and supports connected TV ad creation and customization.
