Voltpost expands charging network using utility poles and streetlights
U.S. electric vehicle charging startup Voltpost has installed seven new Level 2 chargers with 14 charging ports in New York state, expanding an urban charging network by using existing street infrastructure such as streetlights and utility poles. The company set up chargers in Albany, Saratoga Springs and Cold Spring Village. In Brooklyn, it will offer free charging during Climate Week. Voltpost is also pursuing projects in California and Connecticut.
