Bitcoin institutional sentiment worst in 2 years; Coinbase premium negative for 900 hours
Institutional sentiment toward bitcoin has fallen to its weakest level in the past two years as the Coinbase premium index has remained below zero for more than 900 hours, pointing to sustained selling by institutions and professional investors. CryptoQuant contributor Darkfost called it the longest stretch of institutional pessimism in two years. Macro uncertainty was cited as a driver. Bitcoin trades around $66,000, down 0.32 percent in 24 hours but up 1.78 percent over seven days.

Bitcoin short-term holders\' losses deepen as 50,000 BTC move to exchanges
Bitcoin short-term holders have moved a large amount of loss-making coins to exchanges, raising renewed concerns about near-term capitulation. About 50,000 BTC flowed to exchanges over the past 24 hours, the largest since June 4, and 9,500 BTC went to Binance. CryptoQuant data show the market value of short-term holders’ positions fell to $237.7 billion. Long-term holders, however, sent a record 181,000 BTC to accumulation addresses.

Coinbase unveils AI agent trading tool, supports paid research payments
Coinbase has launched an AI agent tool that can trade cryptocurrencies on a user’s behalf and also make payments, TechCrunch reported on Wednesday. Users can link the agent to a primary account or run it in a separate sandbox. The tool analyzes and executes trades via Coinbase Advanced and can handle portfolio rebalancing, logic-based trading and one-off spot trade advice. It currently supports spot and derivatives markets, with stocks and prediction markets planned.
