SAP pushes shift to usage-based billing model for AI
SAP is pushing to shift to charging corporate customers based on artificial intelligence usage. Chief Executive Christian Klein (크리스티안 클라인) said there is no reason to stick with subscription-based pricing because AI will automate many tasks. SAP will create a forward-deployed engineering team in July to build customised AI solutions on customer sites. SAP has also revamped pricing and opened its platform using MCP.
