Ripple transfers 50 million XRP to two Coinbase addresses amid XRP rebound attempt
Ripple reshuffled 75 million XRP across multiple wallets and transferred 50 million XRP to two Coinbase addresses as XRP attempted a recent rebound. The movements began on April 20, with an initial 50 million XRP transfer valued at $71.5 million, followed by further redistribution into five wallets. Two wallets ultimately sent 25 million XRP each to Coinbase. The moves came after Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson criticised Ripple’s business model in an interview.

Evernorth Holdings, a company that holds XRP as a digital asset treasury, has filed an amended S-4 registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as it seeks a Nasdaq listing, The Crypto Basic reported. The listing is planned through a business combination with Armada Acquisition Corp II and involves a multi-step merger with Pathfinder Digital Assets. The planned ticker is XRPN. The structure includes XRP contributions by Ripple Labs and Chris Larsen and cash-and-XRP funding by investors.

XRP is facing short-term price swings, but an influential crypto community figure offered an optimistic view of its long-term role. Black Swan Capitalist co-founder Vandell Aljarrah wrote on X that XRP’s path is not a mystery and said it is moving toward an important role in the global financial system. He cited past comments by former U.S. Treasury Secretary Rosie Rios about XRP’s use in cross-border payments. Recent information indicates Rios is no longer on Ripple’s board.
