Satya Nadella says firms that entrust everything to a single AI will struggle to survive

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella warned that companies could struggle to survive if they hand over the full scope of their AI use to a specific model provider. He stressed that companies must directly control not only data and prompts but also metadata accumulated during model use. Nadella said firms should retain such metadata to use later for training their own weights or open models, and reduce reliance on embedded coding tools from AI companies.
