Ubisoft co-founder Claude Guillemot dies in light plane crash in western France
Ubisoft co-founder Claude Guillemot died in a light plane crash in western France, the company confirmed. Foreign media reported the crash occurred on June 19 as a Cessna 421 attempted to land at La Baule airfield in Loire-Atlantique, killing both people on board. The other victim was instructor Marc Guiero. Reports said Guillemot was piloting the aircraft while traveling to take part in an air show.
