Central Radio Management Office donates radio measurement vehicles to KAIST and RAPA
The government will donate retired vehicle-based mobile radio measurement systems for reuse in education and research. The Central Radio Management Office under the Ministry of Science and ICT held a handover ceremony on Tuesday, donating one system each to the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and the Korea Radio Promotion Association (RAPA). The vehicles, built by converting 15-seat minibuses in 2009 and 2010, were used for radio measurement and interference investigations until late last year.
