Google adds personalization to Gemini for cars with Gmail, Calendar and Photos integration

Google is adding a personalized information feature to Gemini for cars, allowing drivers to find schedules and locations and get navigation using voice commands without checking email or photos directly. The company will roll out Personal Intelligence to Android Auto from Oct. 20 local time and plans to apply it to Google Built-in vehicles in the coming months. The feature uses connected services such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Maps and Photos and is off by default.

Naver expands \'Local Growth\' to support AI transformation for local businesses

Naver said on Sunday it will run its \'Local Growth\' campaign in Mokpo and Gwangju to support offline local businesses\' artificial intelligence transformation. The company said it expanded support beyond solution training to bundled services tailored by commercial district, industry and business characteristics. It will offer consulting for restaurants, cafes and offline stores, and link services including Smartplace, N Pay Connect and Naver ads.

Naver Pay to provide 7.5 billion won special guarantee for Jeju small merchants

Naver Pay will contribute 600 million won jointly with Jeju Bank to provide a total of 7.5 billion won in special credit guarantees for small merchants in Jeju, it said. Each business can receive up to 50 million won in guarantees, with non-financial support such as distributing offline payment terminals and providing digital education. The programme will link with Jeju’s interest subsidy scheme and expand fee refund support for on-site payments through year-end.
