Daishin Securities to run overseas stock desk during Lunar New Year holiday; trading in 14 countries available
Daishin Securities said on Wednesday it will operate an overseas stock desk during the Lunar New Year holiday to help clients trade smoothly. Customers can receive stock consultations and place phone orders via the desk from Feb. 16 to 18. Trading is available in 14 countries. U.S., Japan and Hong Kong stocks can also be traded online through its Cybos and Creon platforms. Several European markets and others are phone-order only.

Mirae Asset tops brokerage app users as KOSPI enters 5,000 era
As the KOSPI index broke above 5,000 for the first time, Mirae Asset Securities emerged as the most-used brokerage app in Korea last month, a survey found. Wiseapp Retail said Mirae Asset Securities\' M-STOCK led in January with 3.6 million monthly active users. Kiwoom Securities\' HeroineS# ranked second with 3.43 million and Samsung Securities\' mPOP third with 2.84 million. All surveyed apps increased users from a year earlier.

Daishin Securities adds simple mode to MTS banking service
Daishin Securities said on Sunday it has launched a new “simple mode” for banking services on its CYBOS and CREON mobile trading systems and improved key functions. Users can configure services such as deposits and withdrawals, transfers and transaction history into a personalised layout. The firm also strengthened transaction search, added automatic guidance on financial institutions when entering new account numbers, enhanced fraud prevention alerts and introduced a dedicated reporting tab.
