South Korea and Central Asia discuss AI, science and technology cooperation, hold partnership ministerial meeting
South Korea and five Central Asian countries discussed ways to expand future cooperation in artificial intelligence and science and technology, the Ministry of Science and ICT said. The ministry held the Korea-Central Asia Future AI and Science and Technology Partnership Ministerial Meeting at Seoul Central Post Office on Sept. 14. The meeting was arranged around the first Korea-Central Asia summit to be held in Seoul this month.

MSIT, GGGI launch climate technology demonstration projects in 10 countries
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT said on Wednesday it selected 10 climate technology demonstration projects with the Global Green Growth Institute. The two organisations launched the Climate Technology Advancement Fund under an administrative agreement signed in April. The projects include three local demonstrations in Cambodia, Jordan and Paraguay, set to begin in the second half of the year, and seven pre-planning tasks that will be linked to demonstrations after 2027.

MSIT launches public climate technology demonstration cooperation with GGGI
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT begins a cooperation project with the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) to demonstrate public climate technologies. The ministry signed an administrative agreement in Seoul on April 14 on the MSIT-GGGI Climate Technology Acceleration Fund. The contribution agreement follows a memorandum of understanding signed in June last year. MSIT plans to build contributions totaling 21 billion won over seven years through 2032 and start projects in 2026 with 1 billion won.
