TikTok works with election commission ahead of local elections, linking official information to election centre
TikTok is operating a cooperation channel with South Korea\'s National Election Commission ahead of the June 3 nationwide local elections and is boosting access to official election information through an in-app election centre. TikTok Korea outlined measures on election trust and fairness and its response to AI-generated content. The company said it combines automated detection and human review, works with fact-checker Lead Stories, and applies restrictions to government and political accounts.

Google launches \'Nano Banana 2\' model, says faster and sharper
Google has unveiled its AI image-generation model \'Nano Banana 2\' (Gemini 3.1 Flash Image), TechCrunch reported on Feb. 26. The model can generate images in various aspect ratios from 512px up to 4K and can express up to five characters and 14 objects. It will be used as the default model across Gemini image modes and Flow, and as Google Search’s default image generator in 141 countries. API support is also expanding.
