Syscon Robotics container unmanned transport technology designated as new logistics technology

Syscon Robotics said on Jan. 23 that a tram-based automatic transshipment cargo shuttle system it jointly developed with Busan Port Authority was designated as an outstanding new logistics technology by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries. The system uses two cooperative shuttles to move cargo containers of 20 feet or more without drivers. The company said the technology can raise terminal-to-terminal transport efficiency and be applied to wider port and inland logistics automation.

Sh Suhyup Bank supports Busan port city school route improvement project with Korea Ocean Business Corporation

Sh Suhyup Bank said on Dec. 15 it delivered 100 million won for a Busan port city project to improve children’s school commuting routes, together with the Korea Ocean Business Corporation. The donation was presented on Dec. 12 at Dongsam Elementary School in Busan, with officials from education authorities, the ChildFund Korea, and two schools attending. The funds will be used for safety infrastructure and children’s safety umbrellas.
