Breez adds support to receive stablecoins from over 30 networks, auto converts to bitcoin

Blockchain firm Breez has added a stablecoin receiving feature to its Breez SDK, allowing apps built on the SDK to accept USDT and USDC sent from more than 30 networks using only a bitcoin balance. The SDK generates a deposit address and shows the net amount, while Flashnet processes the conversion in the background. Funds are deposited as bitcoin into a non-custodial wallet, with an option to receive a dollar balance.

Breez adds support for sending USDC, USDT using bitcoin balance

Breez has added a feature to its developer SDK that lets users send USDC and USDT to more than 30 blockchain networks using their bitcoin balance. Cointelegraph reported that users do not need to pre-convert or separately hold stablecoins. The feature combines the Lightning Network with atomic swaps. Breez identifies the destination chain and shows route, amount, network and fees before payment, while liquidity providers convert bitcoin and deliver the stablecoins.
