JobKorea completes JobPlanet acquisition, evolves into AI-based career platform

JobKorea said on Monday it completed the acquisition of career platform JobPlanet from Braincommerce as of Dec. 31, 2025 and incorporated it as a subsidiary. JobKorea plans to accelerate a shift from a job-posting-focused platform to an AI-based career platform that combines company information and career data. It aims to strengthen community functions at JobPlanet while improving decision-making quality at the pre-application selection stage.

JobKorea UX set to change dramatically, AI agent moves forward

JobKorea is embarking on a sweeping overhaul as it marks its 30th anniversary, aiming to become an AI-native recruitment platform. It will begin with a January revamp of its job-seeker app and website and will roll out an AI agent called Talent Agent. The company is also reshaping products for hiring firms toward performance-based pricing, linking its ATS NineHire with its platform and AI agent, and upgrading JobPlanet after acquiring it late last year.
