Bithumb targets 2028 IPO, plans to seek preliminary review next year
Bithumb is stepping up preparations for an initial public offering targeting 2028, including strengthening internal controls, shifting accounting standards and overhauling its governance structure. The company said it plans to complete preparations for adopting K-IFRS and reinforce internal controls by this year. It aims to request a preliminary listing review in 2027 and complete an IPO in 2028. It is also working to diversify revenue and enhance disclosure and market communication.
