OpenEden launches tokenised product linked to BNY Investments high-yield bond strategy
Real-world asset (RWA) tokenisation platform OpenEden launched HYBOND, its first tokenised product linked to a high-yield bond strategy managed by BNY Investments. The token is designed to provide 1-to-1 exposure to BNY Investments\' Global Short-Dated High-Yield Bond strategy, with BNY Investments managing the underlying assets. OpenEden said the launch expands options beyond cash-like assets and Treasury bonds to products with an early credit-risk return structure.

STS Digital raises $30 million, targets institutional crypto options platform
Bermuda-based startup STS Digital has raised $30 million as it provides cryptocurrency options trading services for institutional investors during a market downturn. Fortune reported the round was led by venture investor CMT Digital, with participation from crypto exchange Kraken, venture firm Arrington Capital and Fidelity’s investment arm. STS Digital handles more than 400 crypto options contracts and also acts as a market maker to provide liquidity.

Bermuda steps up national \'onchain economy\' strategy, partners with Coinbase and Circle
Bermuda is moving to a nationwide transition to an “onchain economy,” under a plan unveiled at the World Economic Forum annual meeting in Davos. The strategy aims to integrate blockchain technology across government, finance and consumers. U.S. crypto exchange Coinbase and stablecoin issuer Circle will provide digital asset infrastructure and enterprise tools, while expanding education and onboarding. The plan also seeks to broaden USDC-based dollar payments to reduce costs.
