Anthropic faced U.S. export controls over insufficient safety measures soon after releasing its new Mythos-based AI model Claude Fable 5. The curbs block overseas access to Mythos 5 and Fable 5 except for U.S. nationals, triggering a strong backlash and potentially complicating Anthropic’s IPO push if prolonged. The move has heightened interest in sovereign and open-source AI models and intensified discussion of AI and geopolitics, while drawing attention to how Washington will respond to OpenAI’s next model.

Hancom said on Wednesday it has prepared BGF Group’s structured and unstructured internal data into a form that artificial intelligence can read and process, based on its Hancom Data Loader and Hancom Pedia solutions. BGF Group carried out a project to build an AI knowledge search system that supports intelligent handling of internal data such as company-wide bulletin boards and work documents. Hancom said it implemented the system in an on-premise environment and reflected BGF Group’s security policies and access controls.
