Hancom said on Wednesday it has prepared BGF Group’s structured and unstructured internal data into a form that artificial intelligence can read and process, based on its AI data processing solution Hancom Data Loader and its knowledge search solution Hancom Pedia.

BGF Group carried out a project to build an AI knowledge search system using Hancom’s solutions to support intelligent handling of internal data such as company-wide bulletin boards, work documents and attachments.

Hancom said the project proceeded by applying its AI solutions to BGF Group’s actual work environment without relying on large-scale systems integration development. It implemented the system in an on-premise environment that can operate on the client’s internal infrastructure, taking into account preventing internal material leaks and security requirements cited as key tasks when companies adopt AI. It also reflected BGF Group’s security policies and authorization framework, including user-by-user access rights, document viewing scope and data processing standards. Hancom emphasized it designed the system so domestic and overseas large language models can be linked flexibly depending on the client’s work characteristics and performance requirements.

Hancom Pedia provides RAG search, natural-language question-and-answer, AI agents and Deep Search functions based on the prepared data.

BGF Group plans to use the system to tie knowledge and information that had been scattered across each organization into a single framework and use it as a foothold to 추진 AX at the group level. The two companies plan to enhance search quality and the completeness of responses based on the project’s results. They also plan to expand applications across various work areas within the group and broaden cooperation through linkage with work-support AI services such as Hancom Assistant for document writing, summarisation and question-and-answer.

Kim Yeon-su (김연수), chief executive of Hancom, said converting and using internal data safely as AI assets has now emerged as a core task that determines corporate survival and business competitiveness. He said Hancom will use cooperation with BGF Group as a foothold to develop the enterprise AX market while making a sovereign agentic OS that secures both data sovereignty and AI productivity a new standard for enterprise AX.
