BCG, OpenAI form Frontier Alliance partnership to support enterprise AI transformation
Boston Consulting Group and OpenAI said on Feb. 24 they signed a Frontier Alliance partnership to support companies pursuing enterprise-wide AI transformation. The partnership combines BCG’s industry, functional and technology consulting expertise with OpenAI’s AI research and product capabilities. The two will run integrated end-to-end teams covering AI strategy, operating model redesign and industry-specific workflow optimisation. They said many firms struggle due to mixed AI tools, complex integration and weak governance.

BCG Korea makes appointments to strengthen AI execution capabilities
BCG Korea promoted Byung-ryeol Kwak and Yoon-ju Kim to managing director and partner and hired Jung-hoon Lee as an MD partner, it said on Tuesday. The firm said it now has a 30-member leadership group comprising 7 lead partners and 23 MD partners. Kwak focuses on service operations, while Kim advises institutional investors and private equity. Lee, part of BCG X, has led AI and data-driven decision-making projects.

AI moves into CEO decision-making; outcomes hinge on organisation, talent and agents
Boston Consulting Group said global companies are set to double AI investment in 2026 from the prior year despite economic uncertainty, and are elevating AI to a core CEO agenda item. In a survey of 2,360 executives in 16 countries, 72 percent of CEOs said they are the main AI decision-maker. The report said leading firms allocate 60 percent of AI budgets to reskilling and more than half to agent-based AI.
