Agentic AI ecosystem strategy nears release as ministry holds workshop

South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT held a workshop on April 27 to discuss an agentic artificial intelligence ecosystem development strategy it plans to release in the first half of the year. Agentic AI refers to AI that understands complex user commands on its own and carries out tasks. The workshop reviewed the direction for the strategy and ways to produce outcomes from the newly launched national Agentic AI Alliance.

South Korea ministry holds AI safety public talk concert

South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT held an \"AI Safety Public Talk Concert\" on Tuesday with the Telecommunications Technology Association and the Artificial Intelligence Safety Institute. The ministry said it is seeking policy measures to build an environment in which the public can use AI safely in daily life as it pushes its \"AI for All\" policy. The event featured lectures, a panel discussion and audience questions on AI innovation and risk responses.
