Aviva Investors launches tokenised fund after Irish central bank approval
Aviva Investors has launched a tokenised share class of a U.S. dollar liquidity fund on the XRP Ledger after securing approval from Ireland\'s central bank. Eligible investors can access the regulated fund via a digital wallet. BNY Mellon continues to custody the underlying assets, while Komainu handles digital asset custody and Licuido provides tokenisation infrastructure. The fund invests in high-grade short-term U.S. dollar debt and money market instruments.

Cardano joins RWA tokenisation race, ranks fifth in growth among major chains
Cardano ranked fifth among major blockchains for 30-day growth in tokenised real-world assets (RWA), with value rising 23.1 percent to $55.3 million, The Crypto Basic reported. The ranking, compiled by the RWA Foundation using Token Terminal data, compared monthly RWA value growth across ecosystems. Cardano is smaller in absolute size than top chains but outpaced some large networks in growth. Its ecosystem is also expanding RWA infrastructure and partnerships.

Bitget registers as financial service provider to expand New Zealand business
Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has registered as a financial service provider with New Zealand’s Financial Service Providers Register (FSPR). The registration allows Bitget to expand services in New Zealand, including foreign exchange conversion, domestic and international remittances, custody of client assets, and portfolio and fund management. Bitget has been widening licences and registrations in various countries. It has also announced plans for a European headquarters in Vienna and appointed Oliver Stauber as Bitget EU chief executive.
