Wemade Play Q1 operating profit jumps 93 percent on efficient operations
Wemade Play said its first-quarter revenue slipped 0.1 percent from a year earlier to 32.4 billion won, while operating profit surged 93 percent to 3.4 billion won. Net profit came to 6.1 billion won. The company attributed the rise in profit to steady service for its key games and a 5.4 percent drop in operating costs. Overseas revenue reached 20.8 billion won, reflecting results from its subsidiary Playlinks.
