Western Union launches stablecoin wallet and Visa card in 37 markets

Western Union has launched a digital wallet and a Visa-branded card in 37 markets that let users hold, send and spend a dollar-pegged stablecoin. Cointelegraph reported the company partnered with stablecoin infrastructure firm Rain to introduce the “Stablecard.” The product supports USDPT, a dollar-pegged stablecoin on the Solana blockchain issued by Anchorage Digital Bank. Western Union plans to expand availability to more than 60 markets by year-end.
