Aave to remove low-adoption reserves, end services on six small blockchains
DeFi protocol Aave has put forward a governance proposal to remove low-use assets from its reserves and end services deployed on six smaller blockchain networks. The move affects $98.10 million in deposited assets and $15.60 million in outstanding debt, The Block reported. The proposal recommends removing 50 low-adoption reserves across 11 Aave V3 deployments and 21 maturing Pendle principal tokens, and fully shutting deployments on Sonic, Scroll, zkSync, Metis, Soneium and Aptos.

Aave Labs launches Stable Vault predictable-yield infrastructure
Aave Labs has launched a new infrastructure product, Stable Vault, aimed at helping institutions integrate predictable stablecoin yield into their products. The service allows fintech firms, wallets, exchanges and payments apps to add stablecoin yield features without building and operating complex DeFi infrastructure. Stable Vault allocates user deposits across several strategies, including Aave V3 and V4 markets, SavingsGHO vaults and customised ERC-4626 tokenised vaults, and passes returns to customers.

Aave tops $100 million in deposits on Monad two days after launch
Decentralised lending protocol Aave has surpassed $100 million in deposits on the Monad blockchain, The Block reported on Friday, citing TokenLogic. The milestone came two days after Aave began services on Monad. Monad is an EVM-compatible layer 1 built by former Jump Trading developers. Monad’s total value locked stood at about $359.5 million as of June 8. The deposits include incentives from the Monad Foundation and Aave DAO.
