ASML Korea named top job-creation company for fourth straight year
ASML Korea said on Thursday it was selected as a \"2025 South Korea top job-creation company\". The programme, run by the Labour Ministry, recognises companies that contribute to job creation and improvements in job quality. ASML Korea has been listed for four consecutive years since its first selection in 2022. The company cited double-digit annual growth in new hiring and a range of work, childcare, housing and commuting support measures.

ASML Korea to hire hundreds of new and experienced staff in second half
ASML Korea will launch large-scale hiring to meet rising customer support demand driven by expanded semiconductor production. The company said on Aug. 27 it will recruit hundreds of new graduates and experienced workers in the second half of 2026. Applications for entry-level hiring will be accepted on its official recruitment site from Sept. 1 to 8. Recruitment will cover engineering roles across sites including Hwaseong, Pyeongtaek, Cheongju and Icheon.

SK Hynix signs 12 trillion won EUV equipment deal with ASML
SK Hynix decided to introduce extreme ultraviolet (EUV) equipment worth about 12 trillion won to support mass production of next-generation semiconductor processes. The company said on March 24 it would sign a purchase contract for EUV scanners with ASML Korea after a board resolution. The deal is valued at 6.91 billion euros, or 11.95 trillion won, and equipment will be introduced sequentially over two years through Dec. 31, 2027.
