Telecoms\' Q1 results diverge after hacking incidents; SKT and KT profitability slows

LG Uplus partners with MongoDB to advance AI services, modernise systems

LG Uplus said on Tuesday it signed an agreement with MongoDB on cooperation in data management for artificial intelligence services. The company said it will advance its AI services and pursue modernisation of its system architecture. LG Uplus plans to expand groupwide its data-use experience verified in its AI contact centre, while improving a dispersed data operation structure to raise response efficiency and operational stability.

KT joins World IT Show with \'Ieum\' theme, showcasing AI and 6G future

KT said on April 21 it will take part in World IT Show 2026 at COEX in Seoul from April 22 to 24 under the theme of “Ieum.” The company will showcase its artificial intelligence transformation (AX) platform vision and 27 innovation technology items, including 6G. Visitors can experience KT’s AI model “Mideum K Pro,” view agentic AI contact centre and security services, and see industry applications. KT will also offer interactive AI experiences tied to content and entertainment.
