KT said on Thursday it will, together with the Busan Information Industry Promotion Agency, unveil artificial intelligence transformation, or AX, execution strategies and cases that can be applied in the field.
KT will provide insights needed to establish AX strategies at "Busan Cloud Day 2026," to be held at 2 p.m. on June 18 at BEXCO in Busan, based on cases including cloud infrastructure innovation, AI agents, an agentic AI contact centre, private cloud and industrial safety internet of things.
The event will be held for companies and related people in the Busan, Ulsan and South Gyeongsang regions interested in AI and cloud transformation. Anyone can participate by registering in advance on KT's enterprise website. The Busan Information Industry Promotion Agency will introduce the status of the regional cloud ecosystem, policies supporting AX transformation, support programmes that companies can use and cooperation opportunities.
Kim Tae-yeol (김태열), head of the Busan Information Industry Promotion Agency, said, "Busan is a key hub for the cloud and AI industry with global connectivity," and added, "We will expand tailored support programmes so that difficulties with AX can be eased and practical growth can be achieved."
Sung Won-je (성원제), head of KT's East Regional Corporate Customer Division, said, "Beyond introducing technology, we share AX strategies and cases that companies can apply immediately in the field," and added, "We will actively support local companies so they can secure AX competitiveness by using Busan's data infrastructure base."
