At ACFM 2026 in Busan he presented the AI short film \"Worm Train\" and plans to use AI in key action scenes for a planned seven-part series, with an eye on attempting AI scenes in feature films. He says AI is a game-changer but cannot replace people, stressing that immersion and storytelling still depend on experts’ detail and collaboration.

Scatter Lab launched a new play option called \"visual novel mode\" for its AI character chat service Zeta, it said on Sept. 28. The feature changes a character\'s expressions and actions and the background in real time based on conversations with users, and includes game elements such as choices and dice events. It can generate images for new characters and lets users create settings, outfits and intros, with outfits available for sale to others.
