K Bank launches \'AI transfer\' for sentence- and voice-based remittances
K Bank is launching an \"AI transfer\" service that lets customers send money by typing sentences or giving voice commands. The bank said AI analyses what users type or say, finds the recipient account and sets up the transfer screen, allowing transfers without entering account numbers or checking recent transactions. Users can register frequent accounts with nicknames. The service can also recommend amounts based on relationships and situations. Final transfers require user confirmation.

KakaoBank conversational AI users top 5 million after one year
KakaoBank said on Tuesday users of its conversational AI service surpassed 5 million a year after its launch. The service reached 1 million users within 3 months, 2 million within 6 months and 3 million within 8 months, before exceeding 5 million recently. KakaoBank upgraded its AI system and added investment and card-benefit search features. The company plans to expand AI use across staff work and customer services and strengthen personalized conversations later this year.

KakaoBank AI service tops 3 million users 8 months after launch
KakaoBank said on Thursday its conversational AI service has exceeded 3 million cumulative users eight months after launch, adding more than 10,000 new users a day on average. It attributed the growth to an expanded lineup and better accessibility, including AI Search, an AI financial calculator, AI transfer and an AI group-account manager. AI Search has 2.65 million users, or about 88 percent of total AI-service users.
