Wyoming implements executive order to attract AI data centres, pledges protections for water use and residential power rates
Wyoming has issued an executive order to support development of AI data centres and advanced computing facilities, setting a consistent statewide framework for permits, reviews, regulation and support. The order links efforts to attract investment with principles covering water use, environmental sustainability, workforce development and protections for residential electricity consumers. It comes a day after U.S. President Donald Trump signed an order to promote advanced AI technology for national security purposes.

The United States is stepping up a wartime response posture, adding pressure on the auto industry. The Pentagon has contacted top executives at major automakers such as GM and Ford to sound out slowing some EV output and expanding weapons and military supplies production. Nissan to expand AI Drive to 90 percent of models, unveils long-term vision
Nissan Motor has announced a vehicle strategy to apply artificial intelligence-based driving technology to about 90 percent of its lineup over the long term. It unveiled a long-term vision centred on an \"AI Defined Vehicle\" concept combining AI Drive technology to enhance autonomous driving with an AI Partner to expand in-car user experience. Nissan plans to introduce next-generation ProPILOT on the Elgrand this summer and aims for end-to-end autonomous driving by the end of fiscal 2027.
