KakaoBank wins back-to-back results at international academic conferences on financial AI security research
KakaoBank said its research on financial AI security and safety has been recognised at international academic conferences. The bank said four papers from its Financial Technology Research Institute were accepted in the first half of this year at ICLR, ACL and LREC. The studies cover detecting prompt injection attacks against specialised generative AI, verifying numerical calculation errors in financial data processing, and evaluating AI safety risks such as voice phishing and fraud.

Selectstar red-teaming technology adopted by ACL 2026
Selectstar said on Wednesday its in-house red-teaming technology, Startiming, was officially adopted by ACL 2026, a leading natural language processing conference. The paper addresses an automated red-teaming method to verify the safety of large language models by attempting harmful prompts to find vulnerabilities. In tests on 17 models, Startiming achieved a 74.5 percent average attack success rate, it said, exceeding AutoDAN-Turbo by 13.5 percentage points.

Enhance has 3 papers accepted at ICML, ACL and ICPR
Agentic AI startup Enhance said on Wednesday that it had three papers accepted at three international AI conferences. All three were led by Enhance AI researcher Won-deok Seo as first author, it said. Enhance plans to use the results to advance its core AgentOS service technology. The accepted papers cover a framework to address cultural bias in large language models, a multi-agent framework for automated data science, and a framework for visualization code synthesis.
