K-AI models expand on-site use from national heritage to bank branches
South Korean artificial intelligence models are spreading across industrial sites, from national heritage services to in-car voice recognition and bank branch design. Motif Technologies will embed its AI model in services for the National Heritage Promotion Agency, including the text-based image generation service HAI, selected as an official case for the AI for Good Global Summit in July. LG AI Research and FuriosaAI are running EXAONE on FuriosaAI’s RNGD NPU, while SK Telecom’s 42dot unveiled Gleo AI. NC AI will support Shinhan Bank branch design using digital twins.

KAIST declares vision for AI college, steps up push to train global convergence talent
KAIST declared its vision for an artificial intelligence college and said it will accelerate talent development and research innovation. KAIST held a vision declaration event at 10 a.m. on Sunday at its Academic and Cultural Center to share its vision and 추진 direction for training key talent, advancing education and research, cooperating with industry and building a responsible AI ecosystem. The event also included the appointment of an advisory group, with domestic and overseas members.

SKT to hire interns for second-phase review of independent AI foundation model project
SK Telecom\'s elite team will recruit R&D interns ahead of the second-stage review of the government\'s independent AI foundation model project. SK Telecom and Krafton said they will each hire about 10 AI R&D interns. SK Telecom will select master\'s and doctoral students or degree holders in AI-related fields to evaluate the A.X K1 foundation model and process data through late June. Krafton will hire researchers to train multimodal LLMs and produce technical reports or papers.
