TmaxTibero to showcase next-generation ADR at 2025 Government Innovation Expo
TmaxTibero will participate in the 2025 Government Innovation Expo in Cheongju from December 3 to 5. It will run a booth under the theme of uninterrupted data infrastructure and will feature its Active Data Replicator disaster recovery solution. ADR supports real-time data synchronisation and failover for Tibero and other database environments. The company also highlights ADR for Oracle, which uses CDC-based selective data transmission. CEO Park Kyung-hee said stable data services are essential during disruptions.

SCK named 2025 Korea work-life balance excellent company
Cloud and IT services company SCK said it was selected as a 2025 Korea Work-Life Balance Excellent Company by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and related agencies. The company cited measures such as flexible work, stronger maternity protection and cultural reforms. Chief Executive Lee Seung-geun said SCK maintains surplus staffing of about 130 percent to support use of internal systems and plans to continue developing these measures.

Lee Eok-won vows to crack down on crypto money laundering, expand travel rule to transactions under 1 million won
Financial Services Commission Chairman Lee Eok-won said the travel rule for virtual assets will be expanded to transactions below 1 million won to block attempts to evade oversight. He also said South Korea will bar trading with high‑risk offshore exchanges, restrict major shareholders of crypto businesses with criminal records, and strengthen FIU review standards. The FIU will add a pre‑emptive account freeze system and expand international cooperation, including ties with Southeast Asian FIUs and coordination at FATF meetings.
