AI agent startup Liner will supply AI services to Gyeongsang National University.

Liner said on July 20 it signed a contract with Gyeongsang National University to provide 'Liner Pro' and will build AI infrastructure for the university's learning and research environment.

Under the contract, about 25,000 members, including undergraduate and graduate students and faculty and staff, can use the Liner Pro plan for 1 year. Licenses are activated through university email accounts.

Services include AI search, the academic-focused agent 'Liner Scholar' and the AI writing tool 'Liner Write'.

Liner Scholar supports searches for papers and research materials based on an academic database of about 460 million items. It also provides an agentic research function that designs research procedures through natural-language dialogue. Liner explained its service scored 95.3 points on OpenAI's factual accuracy evaluation benchmark, SimpleQA.

Lee Sung-jin (이성진), director of the Information and Computing Center at Gyeongsang National University, said, "I hope university members will use agentic AI in research and practical work and grow into talent with AI literacy."

Kim Jin-woo (김진우), Liner's chief executive, said, "We will spare no technical support so that members of Gyeongsang National University can use AI research technology to enhance their research capabilities."
