Kakao Entertainment taps Ko Jeong-hee as new co-CEO alongside Jang Yoon-jung
Kakao Entertainment is building a new leadership structure by appointing Ko Jeong-hee, former head of KakaoBank’s AI group, as incoming co-CEO, it said on Thursday. The company will move to a co-CEO system led by Jang Yoon-jung and Ko. Ko is expected to formally take office in late March after shareholder and board procedures. Current co-CEO Kwon Ki-soo will step down for personal reasons.

Korea Investment Securities launches ETF Market service on mobile app
Korea Investment Securities said on Feb. 27 it will launch an ETF Market service on its mobile trading system app, Korea Investment, from Feb. 28. The company said the service was planned to meet growing demand for exchange-traded fund investing by helping customers access product information and trade more easily. It will show ETFs available for tax-saving accounts on the home screen and allow comparisons and trading of popular ETFs.

GSMA says SKT to outline innovation vision by combining AI and telecoms at MWC26
Julian Gorman of the GSMA says SK Telecom is expected to present an innovation vision at MWC26 by combining AI and telecommunications, including core infrastructure capabilities and physical AI services. He says SKT has played a pivotal role at MWC for 16 years, showcasing technical potential along with commercial feasibility and social value. He also says telecom operators are evolving into trusted infrastructure for sovereign AI.
