Samsung Electro-Mechanics CEO Chang Duk-hyun calls 2026 a year of challenge

Samsung Electro-Mechanics will pursue technological advantage in high value-added products, expand automation and improve productivity to strengthen manufacturing competitiveness, CEO Chang Duk-hyun said. The company will also push commercialisation of new businesses such as all-solid-state batteries and glass substrates and drive companywide innovation using AI. Chang outlined strategies by division, including expanding advanced product development for AI servers and vehicle electronics and focusing on high value-added products for servers and AI accelerators.
