Hana Bank, Jeju to build public-private hub to attract companies
Hana Bank said on Tuesday it signed a memorandum of understanding with Jeju Special Self-Governing Province to build a public-private hub to attract companies. The agreement aims to help firms that want to move to Jeju settle stably and to promote investment attraction by using the bank's financial infrastructure. Hana Bank will provide free office space and venues for events, while the province will support company discovery, growth and related networks.

KOSPI opens up more than 2 percent; Kosdaq also rises
South Korean shares rose in early trade on Tuesday, extending the previous session's sharp rebound. The KOSPI climbed 2.75 percent to 5,684.87 as of 9:09 a.m. after opening higher. Individuals were net buyers, while foreigners and institutions were net sellers. Large-cap shares were mostly higher, including Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. The Kosdaq gained 1.95 percent to 1,159.90.

NHN AD said on March 11 it has officially launched Odasiyoung, a one-on-one video-call class application for senior users. The company described the app as a lifestyle platform aimed at helping seniors build their individuality through new daily experiences. NHN AD said it shaped the service through interviews on official social media channels and by running three contests. The app currently offers personalised classes in exercise, language and music.
