Wrtien Technologies said on Thursday it will revamp the creator settlement policy for its AI entertainment content platform Crack.
From Sept. 1, Crack will allow creators to convert cash paid as content creation rewards into cash. Existing “Wrtien Cash” will be renamed “Crack Cash”, and balances will be converted automatically.
Cashouts will be available from 10,000 won, and there will be no separate per-transaction conversion limit. Large conversions will require additional identity verification, while the cumulative settlement cap per single intellectual property (IP) series is 1 billion won.
From Aug. 12, Crack will also introduce “Crack Only”, which raises the settlement rate for content released exclusively on Crack for a certain period. Those works can be introduced on the North American service “OOC” and the Japanese service “Cyarafu”, allowing creators to receive overseas settlements.
Dongjae Lee (이동재), Wrtien’s chief product officer, said, “We will continue to advance our settlement policy and support system so that AI content creators can earn meaningful income from their creative activities.”
