Crossmint secures MiCA approval to build stablecoin infrastructure across EU

Spain's securities market regulator has given final approval to Crossmint's application under the EU's MiCA rules, Cointelegraph reported. The decision recognises Crossmint as a legal crypto services provider across the bloc's 27 member states. The authorisation covers fiat-to-crypto exchange, custody of customer assets and transfers across wallets and blockchains. A co-founder said many firms will need MiCA-licensed partners and unapproved firms may be forced out.

AI-based HR company Phenom will acquire talent analytics platform Included, SiliconANGLE reported on Jan. 14. Included provides a platform that integrates HR information systems, applicant tracking systems, and performance and engagement tools to analyze talent data in real time. The platform is designed to help companies predict hiring bottlenecks, attrition risk, productivity trends and equity gaps. Phenom plans to strengthen AI-driven HR analytics and offer more refined solutions for talent acquisition and retention.

Novee raises $51.5 million, unveils AI-based penetration testing platform

Israeli AI security startup Novee raised $51.5 million in early-stage funding and unveiled an AI penetration testing platform, SiliconANGLE reported on Tuesday. The company said security threats using AI are rising while traditional testing still relies on slow, human-led methods. Novee said its platform offers continuous, automated AI security testing. It said the platform delivers vulnerability detection that security teams can trust and claims higher detection accuracy than large language models.
