Jensen Huang says TSMC capacity to double over next 10 years

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said Taiwan’s TSMC will increase production capacity by more than 100 percent over the next 10 years, describing it as a significant expansion. He said demand is very high this year and that TSMC must work hard because he needs many wafers. TSMC Chairman C.C. Wei did not answer questions. Huang dismissed reports he criticised OpenAI and said Nvidia will participate in OpenAI’s current funding round.

KB Financial forms 160 billion won venture capital fund to nurture 'K-Nvidia'

KB Financial Group said on Saturday it had formed a 160 billion won "KB Deeptech Scale-up Fund" to invest in deep tech companies in areas such as AI and robotics seeking to challenge as a "K-Nvidia". The fund was built with 75 billion won from the Korea Fund of Funds and 85 billion won from KB affiliates. KB Investment will manage it and plans to attract additional limited partners to expand the fund to about 200 billion won.

LG Display discusses shared growth with about 70 suppliers

LG Display held a shared growth event with about 70 supplier companies and said it hosted the "2026 Shared Growth New Year Meeting" at its Paju site in Gyeonggi province. The annual gathering is aimed at strengthening cooperation for fair trade and shared growth. This year it discussed ways to secure competitiveness amid a low-growth environment in the display industry. The company also shared key shared growth tasks and awarded Best Partner Awards to selected suppliers.
