South Korea runs joint drill to check response to GPS jamming

South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT conducted a simulated drill on Aug. 19 to check joint civil, government and military readiness for GPS signal jamming during the 2026 Ulchi exercise period. The scenario assumed simultaneous jamming at two sites in Paju and a moving jammer, including one approaching a key national energy facility. Authorities reviewed initial response steps, dispatched tracking and strike teams, and implemented safety measures for aviation, maritime and telecom services.

Neuberger launches first tokenized bond fund to run on four blockchains

Asset manager Neuberger has launched its first tokenised fixed-income fund in partnership with Securitize, to be run across four blockchains. The Neuberger Securitize High Income Tokenized Fund (HINC) uses a high-yield bond strategy and also includes some CLOs and leveraged loans. It is designed to let eligible investors access tokenised fund interests on Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche or Sui.
