Toss Securities holds Lunar New Year event to open children's accounts
Toss Securities said on Feb. 12 it is running a Lunar New Year promotion to support minors starting their financial lives. Minors aged 14 to 19 can use a request function in the firm's mobile trading system to ask a legal representative such as a parent to open a child account. If a first-ever account is opened within the period, 20,000 won will be paid into the child account.

Shinhan Bank launches second sale of Shinhan SOLmate time deposit
Shinhan Bank will start a second sale of its Shinhan SOLmate time deposit from Feb. 12 for customers aged 50 and older. The 12-month product allows deposits of 500,000 won to 300 million won per person. The second sale will be limited to 500 billion won, after the first tranche launched on Jan. 26 sold out in 10 days. The product offers up to 3.1 percent interest, including preferential rates.

Woori Bank upgrades WooriWON Business app, strengthens services for sole proprietors
Woori Bank said on Wednesday it has upgraded its WooriWON Business app to help sole proprietors access financial information needed for business operations more easily and quickly. The update introduces a new dedicated space called the Boss Lounge, bringing together key functions such as cash management, loans, tax and consulting. The main screen now provides balance data and analysis of recent transactions, along with a visual interface for purchase and sales information.
