South Korea to set up 10 AX graduate schools this year with 15 billion won
South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT will invest 15 billion won this year to select 10 new AI innovation graduate schools, it said on Feb. 19. The AX graduate schools are intended to cultivate talent that combines expertise in specific fields with AI technology. The ministry aims to pick 22 schools by 2030 and produce at least 820 AX convergence graduates a year. Selected schools can receive up to 30 billion won annually for as long as six years.

Dragonsword developer Hound13 notifies Webzen of publishing contract termination
Hound13, the developer of the open-world collectable action RPG Dragonsword, has notified publisher Webzen that it is terminating their publishing contract, citing Webzen’s failure to pay the remaining contract fees. Hound13 said Webzen refused to pay, citing worsening finances at Hound13, which the developer rejected. Services will continue for 3 months under the existing system, but updates will be disrupted. Hound13 is seeking a new publisher, global service partner and investors.

Testing OpenClaw AI agent shows limits for average users
A reporter tested OpenClaw, an open-source AI agent framework that runs in a user’s local computer environment and can integrate with Telegram, Slack and Discord. While installation was straightforward, connecting AI models and handling API keys caused repeated errors, rate limits and payment issues. After hours of setup, the agent produced inconsistent news-monitoring outputs and struggled with browser automation due to token limits. The experience suggested it remains difficult for non-developers to use effectively.
